Our Story
Who we are has become a whole new dynamic after May 7, 2017. We went through something that rocks your soul and completely changes your life. We lost a child. Something that no parent should ever have to experience. It’s a life altering experience that has made us who we are today. It’s what ultimately led to the start of The Natalia Marie Foundation.
The road to parenthood was anything but easy for us. We suffered two miscarriages and ended up seeking help from a fertility specialist. We were elated when we found out that we were finally pregnant with Natalia. It was at our anatomy scan that the world came crashing down. We learned that she had pretty severe issues that were “incompatible with life”. After many tests, we made the decision to continue with the pregnancy. She was already our baby and we wanted to meet her, however short our time was going to be.
May 7, 2017 at 10:44 am, we welcomed our first baby. Although our time with Natalia was short, she made such a profound impact on us. So much so that we want to be able to be there for other families who experience the same kind of loss, and possibly bring a little comfort and light to these families.
The road after Natalia has been rocky at times. This uncharted territory has been one that we hope to help others navigate through. Our main goal is to bring parents some sort of peace when it comes time to bring their angels home.
As a foundation, we provide urn packages to families who, like us, suffer the loss of their baby. We believe that every family deserves to bring their baby home in something beautiful.
